Morgan Sindall and Lovell are inviting West Wales construction firms and tradespeople to find out about opportunities to work with them at a free networking event next week.

Morgan Sindall and Lovell want to hear from contractors covering the West Wales area looking to work on a series of new schemes.

The Meet the Buyer event will take place on event on Thursday November 7 at the Bridge Innovation Centre at Pembrokeshire Science and Technology Park, near Pembroke Dock, from 1pm to 5pm.

It will be attended by the building team from Morgan Sindall Construction and the housing team from Lovell Partnerships.

Lovell’s continued growth across its South Wales and South West region has led to an increasing number of projects, including a newly secured scheme in Haverfordwest, in partnership with Conygar Developments and Ateb Group.

Work on the development is expected to start in the new year and will deliver a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes over a two-year period.

James Duffett, regional managing director at Lovell, said: “The Meet the Buyer event is an excellent opportunity to find out more about our work and approach to partnership working.

“We are always keen to hear from people who want to work with us and look forward to hearing about what skills they can bring to the team.

“As a business, we are a firm believer of creating benefits for individuals and businesses in the areas that we operate and creating opportunities for them to work with us on our award-winning schemes.”

Current major schemes include landmark west Cardiff development The Mill – a new urban village creating 800 open market sale and affordable homes.

Works are also progressing well on a £25m development to construct 153 homes at Ymyl Yr Afon, in Merthyr Vale.

Other schemes include a £7.5m design and build contract to deliver 56 affordable homes for Newport City Homes, the £16.8m Golwg Y Bryn development for Melin Homes and 50 new houses at Keepers Gate in Weston Super Mare.

The Meet the Buyer event is free and you can register in advance here for a pre-arranged appointment.
