American consulting giant Cumming has merged Stoke-on-Trent-based Prosurv Consult into its business.

Prosurv provides project leadership for clients throughout the entire construction lifecycle ona wide range of schemes currently under development in the U.K.

Paul Dunning, Managing Director of Prosurv said: “Partnering with Cumming allows Prosurv to provide additional advisory services and new specialised expertise to our current clients, while at the same time, providing our team members with opportunities to develop their careers as we look to expand our geographic and valued end-market reach.

“We had been looking for a true long-term partner with an outstanding reputation, an owner-driven culture, and international resources that could help take Prosurv to the next level. We have found this with Cumming.”

Prosurv will continue to operate under the day-to-day leadership of its founders Paul Dunning, Daniel Smith, Chris Price, and Richard Berry.

It is the latest move on the UK market by Cumming after it swooped on City of London based consultant Mellersh & Harding Building Consultancy LLP eleven months ago.

Derek Hutchison, Executive Vice President at Cumming said: “Cumming’s investment in Prosurv demonstrates our continued confidence in the UK market, and our strong belief in the long-term fundamentals of its construction and real estate sector.”

The addition of Prosurv’s 33 staff boosts Cumming’s worldwide team to more than 800 professionals across 29 US offices as well as permanent teams in Beijing, London, Edinburgh, and now Stoke-on-Trent.
