Developer Quintain has awarded McLaren Construction its fourth major job at Wembley Park in London.

Plot NW09/10 work has started and is due to complete in the summer of 2022

The latest £130m contract takes the overall value of work secured at the site to just over £300m.

McLaren’s contract is for the construction of plots NW09 and NW10, made up of three distinct blocks which will offer 396 build-to-rent homes to be run by Quintain’s rental management platform.

The transformation of the 85-acre Wembley Park will bring 8,500 homes to the borough, a third of which will be affordable and the majority available for rent rather than for sale.

The new contract has been awarded after handing over the 340-apartment residential scheme W03 (now named Alameda) and 115,000sqft of Grade A office space at the W06 development along Wembley Park Boulevard last year.

McLaren is due to complete the 150-apartment residential block of W06 in March 2020.
