Subcontractors wanted across Birmingham

Constructionline kicks off this year’s Meet the Buyer programme in Birmingham on Tuesday February 11 with a host of contractors and clients looking for suppliers.

The event takes place at Villa Park where buyers will be attending from big names including BAM Construction, Wates and Seddon.

Constructionline Sales Director, Andrew Lowe, said: “Over 500 like-minded businesses from the construction industry will be in attendance, providing a fantastic opportunity to connect, gain insight, build knowledge and grow your business.

“The event will allow buyers and SMEs to come together for their mutual benefit, it’s a fantastic chance to discuss upcoming work contracts and build long lasting working relations.”

Tickets are a benefit available to Constructionline members only, and firms must register their attendance with a valid membership number here.

Fortem – We are looking for Partners to work on a secured project in the Social Housing sector. These Partners will assist in the delivery of refurbishments to tower blocks to include window and door replacement, ACM panels, fire stopping, roofing and building envelope works.

Sanctuary Group – Suppliers to work on the Cranham Drive in Worcester project.

Seddon Construction – New Sixth Form block at President Kennedy School in Coventry. Classroom block and hall extension at Coundon Court School in Coventry. Also, an Extra Care Residential Scheme in Stoke-on -Trent.

Partner Construction – 56 Units Coventry, 128 Units Burton on Trent, 65 Units Cheslyn Hay, 64 Units Shipston on Stour plus other sites in geographic area.

Wates Construction – Our work in the Midlands, such as on Eden Boys Leadership Academy in East Birmingham, and Sandwell Aquatics Centre in Smethwick, aim to unlock the potential of the local supply chain, enhancing skills and creating job opportunities among the communities in which we build. Our subcontractors are an integral part of the successful delivery of our landmark projects and on major national construction frameworks, including Scape.
