Winners for £950m Midlands property upkeep framework

Procurement consortium Efficiency East Midlands has named its favoured firms for a property improvements framework that could deliver £950m of work over four years.

The framework has been broken down into four main lots covering planned housing maintenance, commercial property, voids and specialist kitchen and bathroom fit-out.

The EEM procurement body was formed in 2010 with five founding housing provider members. Together they have a combined property stock of around 2.5 million properties.

These typically consist of a mixture of domestic housing stock, communal and corporate buildings, hospitals, student accommodation, universities and depots.
