It will be a significant jump on 2019’s revenue of £30m as Bethell also looks to expand its workforce by up to 30% to service wins with utility companies, local authorities and other key infrastructure clients.
Bethell also successfully re-entered the multi-utility connections industry a few years ago and this business has grown rapidly to service the demand from the buoyant new housing market.
Bethell is expanding the workforce and recruiting across all staff levels from skilled operatives and site-based staff through to senior management appointments based at its Kearsley head office.
The recruitment campaign is targeting an additional 75 new staff being added to the workforce before the end of the year.
Bethell Chief Executive, Tim Kilroe, said “These are exciting times for Bethell. We have enjoyed a number of major contract wins in 2019 including our significant success with United Utilities.
“Our loyal workforce has been the reason we are so successful and 2020 now provides us with great opportunities but also challenges. We won’t be able to achieve these targets without adding to our skill base and expanding our team”.
