A growing number of contractors are looking to install fever screening technology on their sites as the industry continues to return to work amid the coronavirus pandemic

Health and safety and communications specialist Anomaly Hi-Vis has partnered with a leading Chinese technology company and is now distributing its system in the UK.

The infra-red fever warning system can scan crowds of workers as they enter sites and identify anyone with an above normal temperature.

The manufacturer developed the system in response to the 2003 SARS virus outbreak.

Phil Austin, Anomaly Group CEO said: “We have been working with our partners to gain access to the most advanced Fever Detection Technology available.

“The key to an accurate system is Artificial Intelligence, to deliver enhanced temperature accuracy and facial recognition.

“The manufacturer we have partnered with has deployed 30,000 systems worldwide to help identify people with a fever in both public and private sector environments.”

Anomaly also offers a range of hand held temperature checking systems for use on site.
