Reigate & Banstead Borough Council is developing the cinema and 13-storey flats project
Demolition of former offices and shops has been completed allowing works to start on the Marketfield Way scheme.
Vinci will build a seven-screen cinema, shops and restaurants, an underground car park and 150 rental flats for client Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.
Piling rigs are on-site with work to commence soon on the construction of a new basement for the flats.
Vinci’s Regional Director Jason Griffiths said: “This scheme will provide excellent accommodation and new facilities for the town to enjoy.
“We will play our part in delivering local employment, wider community support and considerate delivery of this scheme”.
The Mayfield Way development is expected to complete in Summer 2022.
