The package was awarded to Bauer Technologies by Careys Civil Engineering on behalf of Caudwell Properties.

It will see the company install 254 linear metres of 880/780mm secant wall; 95 no 1200mm, 1350mm and 1680mm bearing piles, of which 13no will be temporary plunge columns and 11no permanent plunge columns.

Bauer will also be required to undertake pile removal and obstruction coring through an existing car-park slab to facilitate the construction of the new basement and bearing piles.

Bauer Technologies’ work on the project started mid-September 2020 and is scheduled to run for seven months.
