The mega framework covering pubic building works of varying sizes across England, Wales and Scotland is estimated to be worth up £1.6bn over four years.
The next generation frameworks are successors to Schools and Community Buildings frameworks, which expire next summer.
Firms in the existing pool of preferred contractors include big names like Kier, Galliford Try, Morgan Sindall, Vinci and Willmott Dixon as well as regional players like Esh, Speller Metcalfe and Robertson.
Workload forecasts for Scotland and England are each being estimated at £750m over four years with Wales expected to account for £100m of spend.
While all public building works are included the framework has previous mainly delivered school and health projects.
Each of the three frameworks follows the same lotting structure based on six project value bands.
To encourage SMEs new build and refurbishment projects lots are included up to £2m with firms able to bid for up to 42 geographies, based broadly around counties.
