Projects valued up to £5m will have a pipeline worth £600m and large projects of above £5m are expected to account for £1.5bn of work.
Four firms scooped the major works package with two previous incumbents Balfour Beatty and Bouygues not renewing.

Acivico, Birmingham City Council’s design and contract delivery partner, as well as Solihull and Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Councils are committed to using the preferred panel of firms.
The new panel will be used to deliver education projects, housing – including low, medium and high-rise – health and social care, sports, leisure and blue light facilities.
The framework will initially run for four years, with the option to extend by up to two years.
