Bid race starts for £650m housing upgrade framework

Regional procurement body Efficiency North is calling up firms to bid for spots on a £650m repair and maintenance framework covering the north west and East Midlands regions.

EN:Procure is looking for experienced and qualified contractors of all sizes to bid for places on the 32-lot framework for social housing landlords.

The next-generation framework includes new lots for roofing, electrical installation and gas servicing and maintenance

Framework lots for separate North West and East Midlands regions.


  • Kitchen and bathroom installations (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Windows and doors (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Electrical installation works (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Heating, plumbing and ventilation (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Electrical inspection, testing and remedial repairs
  • Gas servicing and maintenance
  • Brickwork, masonry works
  • General building works and repairs (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Roofing (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
  • Paint and pre-paint repair works
  • Environmental and estate improvement works
  • Voids clean and clear monitor and secure
  • Voids Refurbishment Works
  • External Works to High Rise
  • External wall insulation
  • Commercial Heating Installation Works (East Midlands & North West)
  • Whole house internal & external Installation (Two lots: less than £2m and over £1m)
