Ameon will be responsible for the installation of all services on FEC’s New Cross Central development: an eight-storey, residential apartment block comprising 80, one- and two-bed apartments, and nine three-bed town houses.

The distinctive development, the upper floors of which are stepped to create spacious terraces for a number of the apartments, is the first FEC project to be undertaken in New Cross, and Ameon’s second collaboration with Dex; the first being plot 5 Angel Meadows.

Two further contracts are also underway for client FEC, on plots two and three Angel Meadows; bringing Ameon’s total contracts value with Dex and FEC to circa £16 million.

Ameon pre-contract director, Mark Court said: “We are delighted to be able to maintain our excellent working relationship with FEC and Dex through the New Cross Central contract.  This new project will keep us involved in the Victoria Gateway with Dex until May 2022; although our work across Manchester on a range of new developments will ensure our continued presence in the city beyond that time.”

The building services installation contract on New Cross Central will commence in August.
