The win is part of a £40m haul of recent contract successes for the firm.

At the Lister Drive Greener Grid Park Project NRS will deliver design and build services for all Balance of Plant works on the Synchronous Condenser scheme which forms part of National Grid’s strategy for a greener network by replacing existing fossil fuel powered assets with a zero emissions alternative.

Other wins for NRS Group include an Access Road Framework for Scottish Power which will run for a minimum of three years and be worth up to £20m.
