Jarvis lands latest £40m phase on Watford regen site

Jarvis Contracting has been appointed by Watford Health Campus Partnership to deliver the latest £40m phase of Watford Riverwell.

The ‘Avenues at Riverwell’ scheme is the next step in a £400m regeneration project transforming 70 acres of land south of Watford General Hospital and Watford Football Club, providing new homes, shops, community facilities and open spaces.

Client the Watford Health Campus Partnership is a joint venture of Kier Property and Watford Borough Council.

Jarvis has been brought in to deliver 192 homes across two phases directly south of Watford FC’s Vicarage Road football stadium.

Main works on Phase one will start this summer.

It is the second time Jarvis has been appointed by Watford Health Campus Partnership to deliver a phase of the projec. In 2019 the firm ompleted the first phase, known as ‘Woodlands’, which provided 95 apartments.

We were extremely pleased when we were confirmed as the successful contractor to deliver the ‘Avenues at Riverwell’ scheme.

“Jarvis has an excellent presence within Watford, having also recently become a Regional Partner for Watford Football Club, and we are committed to working with the client team to deliver another great community development.”
