Galliford Try wins two Welsh Water framework deals

Galliford Try’s purchase of contractor nmcn has helped the firm to pick up its first capital maintenance framework win in the water sector.

Welsh Water has awarded Galliford Try places on the Major Mechanical and Major Electrical frameworks covering a five-year period transcending AMP7 and AMP8, with a potential extension for a further three years.

The framework is expected to be worth in the region of £20m to the group in the initial five-year term.

The win represents Galliford Try’s first framework with Welsh Water for over 10 years and comes in close succession to the business’s appointment on Northumbrian Water’s AMP7 framework.

Galliford Try is now working for all 11 of the regulated water and sewage companies across the England, Wales and Scotland, across its design and build and capital maintenance activities.
