The North West Construction Hub is retendering its medium-value building framework with the promise of a potential work pipeline of £250m-£1bn.

A dozen firms now face a fight to retain their places on the pretendered panel for projects valued between £3m and £8m.

These include: Casey, Conlon, Equans, Eric Wright, Galliford Try, ISG, Kier, Laing O’Rourke, Morgan Sindall, Robertson, Warden and Wates.

Manchester City Council is hosting the procurement and has given firms have until 2 May to submit expressions of interest, winning firms due to be announced in August this year.

The framework will then be in place from September for four years. Around 10 firms are expected to be given places.

So far NWCH has delivered, or is in the process of delivering, 449 projects with an aggregated value of £2.66bn, through its suite of frameworks on behalf of 114 public sector clients from the North West.
