McAleer & Rushe is looking to expand its supply chain of specialist subcontractors and suppliers following a series of recent contract wins including a £102m student tower in the City of London.

The firm is holding a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event on Wednesday May 1 at the County Hall, Westminster in London.

McAleer & Rushe said it is a prime opportunity for new companies to find out how to become a valued member of its supply chain and benefit from its strong pipeline of live and upcoming projects across the UK.

The event follows several contract awards including the £102m student accommodation development at Crutched Friars and its expansion into wider residential sub markets, such as Later Living.

With a turnover secured at £450m for 2024, McAleer & Rushe is on target to exceed £500m in 2025 including new and live contracts focused in the Greater London area, and in most major cities across England and Scotland.

Emmett McGinley, Commercial Director at McAleer & Rushe, said: “McAleer & Rushe are committed to the highest standards of Health, Safety and Quality, and we want to work with companies mutually aligned with our values and targets, which includes our Sustainability approach to becoming a Net Zero Carbon business by 2045.

“We recognise the value of building a strong diverse supply chain and this Meet the Buyer event will serve as the perfect opportunity for us to reach a vast range of prospective businesses to showcase our partnership first approach, with representatives from our Commercial, Procurement and Sustainability team present at the event for attendees to engage with.”
