Cladding specialist Alucraft Systems Ltd crashed into administration owing more than £7.7m to suppliers and subcontractors.

The Staffordshire based contractor called in administrators from PwC in March who have now posted an update at Companies House on the firm’s finances.

It reveals that the supply chain is owed £7.7m with little chance of unsecured creditors getting a penny for their unpaid invoices.

Alucraft started its highest-profile project to date last May to deliver the curtain walling, aluminium rainscreen and composite cladding to the new Everton Football Stadium.

Latest results for Alucraft Systems Ltd for the year to December 31 2022 show a turnover of £18.7m generating a pre-tax loss of £5.7m while employing 82 staff.

Alucraft Systems Ltd is one of four businesses that form the Clarison Group of companies.

The other three firms are Alucraft Ireland Ltd, EAG and William Cox.

Clarison Group is supported by private equity group Elaghmore which is owed £19m following the failure of Alucraft.

Companies House records show Clarison Group changed its name to TGCL 2024 Ltd in March.
