Birmingham based The Construction Consultants (TCC) has launched The Materials Consultants (TMC) to support the industry with smarter material sourcing, detailed cost insights and technical compliance.

TMC offers a full range of materials advice, from bricks and blockwork to insulation and landscaping. Unlike a typical procurement service, TMC also helps clients identify inefficiencies in specifications, manage inventory to reduce waste, and maintain reliable, consistent supply chains.

TCC co-founder and director Sandeep Sunner said: “The team has a deep understanding of Standard Assessment Procedure and Simplified Building Energy Model calculations, allowing them to flag materials or specifications that may appear compliant on paper, but under-perform in energy or carbon assessments. This expertise allows clients to make smarter choices early, saving time, money and regulatory risk later in the project.”
