Kori Construction has landed a £20m pair of care homes as the Corby based contractor posted a record set of results boosted by its growth in the later living sector.

The main contractor will start work this month on sites in Taverham and Stafford for client Artisan Care.

Both jobs are typical of the schemes which helped Kori boost turnover 29% to £69.9m for the year to March 31 2025 from £54m last time as pre-tax profits hit £5m from £4m.

It marked a third consecutive year of double-digit growth for the firm which delivered 529 new beds in the past 12 months, bringing its total completed to over 1,500, with 12 additional projects – totalling 785 beds – currently on site.

Jordan Connachie, Managing Director of Kori Construction said: “Our continued success in a challenging market reflects disciplined growth, rigorous commercial governance, and a deep understanding of the later living sector.

“This year’s results demonstrate the strength of our operating model and the commitment of our people, clients, and supply chain.”

The company has seen a 39% increase in cash at bank to £18.48m, while net assets rose 78% to £7.35m as Kori continues to operate with no external borrowing.

Looking ahead, the business enters the 2025/26 financial year with a forward order book of £125m and plans to deepen its presence in the life sciences and multi-room sectors. Kori is also investing in a bespoke AI enabled data platform to enhance real-time reporting and performance transparency across its operations.

Connachie added: “Kori’s strength lies in its people, partnerships, and purpose.

“Our results speak to the value of staying focused on what we do best – delivering high-quality projects in sectors where we can make the biggest impact.”
