The Holme Meadows scheme, located within Wokingham Borough Council’s South Wokingham Strategic Development Location, will deliver a mix of 65% private sale and 35% affordable homes on a fully serviced parcel of land.
A reserved matters application for the site is currently being considered, with a planning decision expected shortly. If approved, construction will begin later this year.
The JV has also lined up a further 298 plots for future delivery as part of the wider masterplan, which includes infrastructure, schools, public open space, and community amenities.
This marks the third time Vistry and Kier Property have joined forces on a major mixed-tenure housing scheme, building on their growing partnership.
Trevor Wicks, managing director at Vistry Thames Valley, said: “This acquisition marks a pivotal step in our partnership with Kier Property. We are committed to creating a sustainable community that meets local needs and supports the wider infrastructure strategy for South Wokingham.”
