Stepnell has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of former Vinci UK Developments boss Graham Lambert as Midlands director to spearhead regional growth.

Lambert joins the Rugby-based contractor after six years as managing director at Vinci UK Developments, where he led major regeneration and urban development schemes.

Prior to Vinci he held senior roles at Bouygues-owned Linkcity and Leadbitter.

He will now head up Stepnell’s Midlands operations, focusing on expanding its project portfolio and strengthening relationships with regional clients.

Lambert said: “After more than a decade immersed in the development side of the industry, this role is a great opportunity to return to the tangible immediacy and engagement that I enjoy with securing and delivering construction projects.”

At the same time, Stepnell has appointed former Henry Boot construction director Craig Finn as framework director to lead the firm’s national and regional framework growth.

Chief executive Tom Wakeford added: “Graham and Craig’s appointments underline our commitment to strengthening Stepnell’s leadership and operational delivery.

“Graham brings invaluable regional knowledge and leadership that will enhance our Midlands presence, while Craig’s appointment marks a major step forward in developing our framework offering.”
