The YORcivil framework follows the YORbuild deal designed to provide £2.6bn of general construction work to the 45 contractors who have won a place on the public sector programme.
Councils in the region led by East Riding are now looking to appoint up to 33 contractors to the new four-year civil engineering framework covering bridges/ structure works, highway surfacing works, traffic management works, road marking works and barrier repair works.
Works will be divided into seven lots depending on the size and type of contract and the framework includes a possible two-year extension.
Up to 120 firms will be invited to tender with a deadline of November 29 to express interest.
Firms looking to win a place on the framework should contact [email protected] or visit the online procurement system at scms.alito.co.uk/
