Former marketing director Jeff Schofield moves across to run Hewden’s newly-created events division while former strategic projects director Kumar Bhamidipati takes over as marketing director to spearhead the firm’s drive for more customer focus.
Kumar brings more than 20 years of international experience with Hilti, Racold and Elco, and a track record in delivering business results. He will be responsible for marketing strategy, product management and sales support.
He will work closely with three new sales directors responsible for key growth markets.

- Steve Smith, Industrial and Infrastructure: Steve has over 20 years of sales experience predominantly in industrial sector with Hewden, Severn Unival Ltd, Petrolite, and Alliance.
- Lucy Furnival, Construction: Lucy has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry gained at Hilti and Speedy Hire.
- Jeff Schofield, Events: Jeff will lead the newly created events division using his wealth of rental knowledge, gained over 30 years with the Hewden business in both operational and sales functions.

“This new structure will enable customers in the markets we have targeted to be clear around what innovation, value and choice means for them when dealing with Hewden.”
