The tower project, which sees M J Lonsdale set for the mechanicals, is the biggest of five major commercial building contracts in the pipeline for T Clarke, together worth £65m.
In an upbeat end of year trading statement this morning, the firm said it saw a strong forward pipeline of office work in the Capital.
The preferred bidder projects, which are not yet included in its £300m forward order book, amount to just over 3m sq ft of commercial space.
Mark Lawrence, group chief executive, said: “Our markets remain active, and the group is tendering for work across its target markets, particularly for projects stretching into 2017.”
The firm is also set for Lendlease’s two major International Quarter office projects in Stratford, East London. These will be home to the Financial Conduct Authority and Transport for London.
T Clarke is also set to deliver the building services on the 740,000 sq ft extension to Westfield London’s shopping centre in Hammersmith, along with a 148,000 sq ft office revamp at 148 Old Street.
Lawrence added: “As market conditions continue to improve, we are pleased with the profile of our forward order book which reflects our focus on tendering for work at acceptable margins.”
The firm’s cash position improved significantly during the second half of the year as major new contracts came on-stream, leaving it with £6.6m net cash.
