Betting Spy: Cunning Foxes to score against City

All eyes on the Etihad this weekend where the top two slug it out.

Man City v Leicester should be a top versus bottom clash according to most pundits at the start of the season.

But the Foxes are worthy league leaders and continue to defy the doubters.

Ranieri’s men were superb against Liverpool last week and the 5/1 being dangled by the bookies against an away victory looks a touch insulting.

I’m sure the visitors will score against City’s suspect defence but Sergio Aguero looks in the mood at the moment and he could once again prove the difference.

It’s one of those games to crack open a beer and settle back onto the sofa and enjoy.

It could be a punishing Saturday for armchair fans with the start of the Six Nations and football providing almost six hours of non-stop live coverage.

I’ll be taking plenty of liquid breaks and reaching out to the crisp bowl regularly to keep in peak shape for a sporting marathon.

In terms of a bet this week it’s vital in this game to follow form.

Spurs top the current form table and should be the foundation of any multiple bets this weekend.

Crystal Palace or on a woeful run and just can’t score so they look to be in trouble against a Swansea side steadying the ship.

The Spurs/Swansea double pays a shade over 5/2 which should pay for the sofa treats.

I’m as patriotic as the next man but I can’t back England as short as 13/8 for the Six Nations.

Huge questions still remain after the World Cup debacle and Eddie Jones first team selection hardly sets the pulse racing.

Wales at 3/1 look much better value and a win against the depleted Irish on Sunday would see that price disappear faster than Jason Leonard’s pint.
