The NWCH is being managed by Manchester City Council and will include public works contracts in Cumbria, Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

Conlon Construction, F Parkinson, Harry Fairclough Construction, Keepmoat, Kier Services and Seddon made it a clean sweep securing a place on the panel for all five regions covering construction-only and design and build lots.

Wates picked up all regions except Cumbria, where Cruden Group secured its only place.

Local firm Read Construction bagged a place on the panel for work in Merseyside and Cheshire, while Henry Boot made the cut for contracts in Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire.

Specialist Aspect Construction Contracts also secured a place for design and build work in the Cumbrian region.
