Icopal hikes prices by 10% as raw material costs soar

Roofing and waterproofing specialist Icopal is increasing prices for all of its products by between 5% and 10% from this spring.

The firm is blaming the rising cost of raw materials and is also imposing a minimum order level of £1,000 from March 21.

Kevin Bohea, Sales Director for Icopal said: “Raw materials, oil, gas, energy and fuel rises across the board mean that production, transportation and logistics are ever increasing costs for any business.

“Icopal has undertaken a number of significant investments in its Manchester production facilities and going forwards we intend to service customers in a more effective manner, helping to keep further cost increases in check.”
