The community health building projects in Hammersmith, London; Hull; Leeds; and Sandwell were among 17 that the Department of Health put under review in late 2010.
The remaining 13 projects will not gain PFI credits but local authorities will be allowed to take them forward if they find alternative funds.
- £30m collaborative care centre at White City developed by the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and its local primary care trust. The builder is Willmott Dixon.
- £83m scheme for Hull city council to develop over 200 extra care homes across the city. The homes will be built at three sites: Hawthorne Avenue, the former Homethorpe flats in Orchard Park and the former Holden Centre on Leads Road.
- £30m Holt Park Wellbeing Centre, Leeds. First put under review two weeks before construction was due to start.
- £15m sports and leisure centre at Sandwell, where priority will be given to disabled adults receiving social care services. The centre is due to open early in 2013 and will include a GP surgery.
