Firms of all specialisms and sizes are being invited to Birmingham for the market engagement conference.

This includes most major trades from demolition and earthworks contractors to landscaping and traffic management specialists.

Heathrow Airport said it aimed to discover new suppliers and re-engage with existing suppliers to identify best practice and innovative ways to deliver the project.

“We want to tap into talent and bring the best innovations right to the heart of how we tackle the challenges of expansion delivery, said the airport owner.

“We will take contracts to market that are sustainable and procure in a way that enables meaningful and active participation from suppliers existing and new.

“We will collaborate with our suppliers and deliver on our commitments as a responsible member of the community.”
