Holding company Amodeo Group trading as Mike Amodeo (Contractors) and Amodeo Haulage is expected to be wound up at a creditors’ meeting next week.

It is the second big concrete flooring specialist to go under this year after the country’s largest in-situ concrete firm Stuarts Industrial Flooring collapsed with the loss of 100 jobs.

Amodeo has traded for 26 years and worked on Cardiff City Stadium and the BBC Wales’ Roath Lock Studios.

It is set to go into voluntary liquidation, with a meeting at the Cardiff office of corporate recovery group Begbies Traynor next Tuesday.
