Two major brownfield planning applications have gone in for site in Staines, Middlesex and Basildon, Essex.

The company has also secured three new brownfield opportunities in the London borough of Barking and Dagenham.

In Staines Inland is looking to transform the site of the Former Telephone Exchange and Masonic Centre.

The scheme, designed by Assael Architecture, will provide 206 residential units across two buildings of 13 and 15 storeys, including 94 affordable homes, landscaped amenity, extensive public realm improvements and enhanced pedestrian links.

Inland is working with Homes England in Basildon to create 700 new dwellings at Gardiners Park Village on a 54-acre brownfield site.

The application will include the provision of a site for a new school and up to 25,000m² of flexible business space designed for start-up companies.

In Barking and Dagenham Inland has secured three new brownfield opportunities, which together will provide over 800 new homes.

Planning applications for these sites will be submitted during the first half of 2021.
