Northumbrian Water has picked its partner contractors for a wide-ranging AMP7 framework contract for smaller construction and engineering works on its water and wastewater assets worth up to £150m.

Galliford Try has secured a place for the first time on a Northumbrian Water framework and joins a group of four contractors that bagged all three lots.

The framework has been set up to provide additional contractor capacity on Northumbrian’s AMP7 capital works programme being delivered by its main Runway 2 partners.

Projects released via the frameworks will be competitively tendered and be worth £500,000 to £10m.
