Domis on the hunt for subcontractors and suppliers across Cornwall

Construction company Domis is hosting a ‘meet the buyer’ event next month to find local subcontractors and suppliers to work on upcoming projects across Cornwall.

The event will take place at The Hotel Bristol in Newquay, Cornwall on Thursday 9 June between 1pm and 7pm and will be open for all interested firms to attend.

It will be the first step in the recruitment of local contractors and suppliers for Domis’ upcoming construction projects which include developments in Tuckingmill, St Ives and Newquay containing more than 550 new homes.

Lee McCarren, Managing Director of Domis said: “We have a busy schedule with some great projects ahead of us in Cornwall and we’re looking to establish some long-term relationships with local supply chains and labour to help us deliver them.

“This event will be a great opportunity to meet with local people and organisations that share our passion and commitment to creating excellence. We’re looking forward to meeting local trades and sharing some information about ourselves and our exciting pipeline of opportunities.”

Founded in 2017, Domis is the construction partner for developer Salboy.

The company is currently involved in several large-scale projects across the UK including the £300m Viadux development and 28 storey Anchorage Quay in the northwest, as well as the prestigious Cluny Mews project in Kensington and Chelsea.
