After more than 40 years leading the London-based construction group he founded in 1982, Phil Munnelly will become chairman, taking on a more ambassadorial role while remaining involved in strategic decision-making.
His son has served as chief operating officer for the past two-and-a-half years.
Phil Munnelly said: “This leadership evolution has enabled me to naturally transition into a more ambassadorial role, allowing me to focus on high-level strategic conversations and client engagements where my industry experience and network can add the most value.”
He added: “While my role is evolving, I remain fully committed to the continued success of Munnelly Group.”
Paul David Munnelly said: “I am excited to be taking on this new role within the business and look forward to building on the success we’ve achieved under Phil’s leadership.”
The Munnelly Group has grown from a small family business into a £150m turnover player in construction, security, rail, recruitment and geospatial surveying.
