Former Mace deputy chairman Mark Holmes was awarded a CBE for services to construction following his work leading Infrastructure Exports UK and promoting British firms abroad.
He’s joined on the list by engineering veteran Faith Wainwright, who also received a CBE after a distinguished career at Arup.
Architects Julian Harrap and Eric Parry were both honoured with CBEs for their long-standing contributions to design and heritage architecture.
Jo Bamford, boss of clean energy firm HydraB Power and heir to the JCB empire, was also named a CBE for his work driving the hydrogen economy.
In government infrastructure, former Infrastructure and Projects Authority boss Nick Smallwood was awarded a CBE for services to infrastructure and project delivery. He previously oversaw major government construction programmes and set benchmarks for project execution across Whitehall.
An OBE went to Gareth Stapleton, founding partner of RiSE International, for services to architecture and project and construction management.
