The plant hire arm is still solvent and not in administration but the decision has been made to sell its fleet after £33m-turnover groundworks and concrete frame specialist Corbyn Construction failed.
Euro Auctions has been appointed to dispose of its fleet including excavators, dumpers, tower cranes, concrete lorries, tippers, low-loaders, and specialist delivery vehicles.
A comprehensive stock of formwork systems from leading manufacturers including Peri, SGB, and K-Guard is also up for grabs along with a full suite of concrete placing equipment.
David Betts of Euro Auctions said: “Construction remains the sector with the highest rate of insolvency in the UK, and unfortunately Corbyn Construction has now joined the growing list of casualties. While Corbyn Plant Hire is not in administration, the company is taking proactive steps to realise the value of its assets.
“Euro Auctions are proud to be entrusted with this disposal and bring to market a wide range of equipment. Alongside a substantial fleet of excavators, telehandlers, tractor units, flatbed and tipper trucks, what truly sets this sale apart is the sheer volume and variety of formwork systems available – possibly the most extensive we’ve ever offered in a single sale.”
The online timed auction will take place on 9 July 2025, with viewing of assets available on 8th July 2025 at: Mohawk Wharf, 12 Bradfield Road, Silvertown, London Docklands, E16 2AU.
