Betting Spy: Man Utd a massive price to beat Arsenal

Unemployment in Spain has hit the horrifying heights of more than 27%.

And this week another 22 young men were made redundant from the Champions League after a devastating display by their German rivals.

Just when you think you are falling out of love with football a couple of games come along which restore your faith in the beautiful game.

And I defy anyone not to have sat in admiration watching Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund destroy two of the greatest sides of recent times.

Barcelona and Real Madrid weren’t just beaten.

Their whole footballing philosophy was dismantled and with it the recent period of Spanish dominance.

The Germans played a supreme pressing game allied to great technique and outstanding levels of fitness.

Plenty have tried one or two of those components against the Spanish giants and come unstuck.

But when all three came together Barcelona and Madrid just couldn’t cope and you sensed one of those power shifts in world football going on.

Both results have already seen Germany backed in to win the next World Cup.

But I’m not so sure as the national side is still wobbly at the back and doesn’t boast a world class goalscorer.

Poland certainly do in Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski and I’m sure Roy Hodgson will be making special plans for him in England’s upcoming World Cup qualifier.

Betting Spy was back to its bad old ways last week with a loss inspired by our faith in Andy Carroll scoring.

I’ll keep well away from the Hammers this week and put our cash on the champions.

Man Utd have sewn-up the league in double-quick time but i doubt Fergie will let his squad rest on its laurels.

And for that reason the 21/10 about a Utd win at Arsenal is just too tempting to ignore.

The table doesn’t lie and there’s a gulf in class between these two which makes the price a steal.
