Bosses from Conlon Construction are looking to meet subcontractors from the North West interested in winning work on upcoming projects.

Constructionline is hosting a free event at Bolton Whites Hotel in Bolton on Wednesday 17th September to bring both sides of the industry together.

Conlon is seeking new supply chain businesses who can help deliver a recently awarded four-year EFA Framework, which consists of work on new and refurbished school buildings across the entire national school estate, in addition to existing Local Authority frameworks.

The event will showcase how businesses can submit bids for work on the frameworks, the selection criteria needed to qualify, as well as offering general tender tips.

Claire Makin, business development manager at Constructionline, said: “Hosting events like this are at the heart of what we do – we want to help suppliers secure work and we want to make it easier for those behind projects to find reliable, local construction companies.

“It can be challenging for small businesses to get involved in projects on their doorsteps so it’s great to see Conlon Construction sourcing local subcontractors.”

Andrew Makinson, Divisional Director at Conlon Construction, said: “An event like this helps us access a variety of suppliers in the North West, who are keen to engage with us as part of our supply chain procurement plan.

“Using local supply chain partners enables us to contribute to the local economy as well as serve the local community, and at the same time help us to access a range of professional disciplines who can enhance and develop our supply chain”.

The event is free and registration is advised to avoid disappointment. For more information or to register interest click here
