The free event is being hosted by Constructionline at The Welcome Centre in Coventry on Tuesday December 2.
An overview of Farrans and its upcoming construction projects will be outlined at the event, as well as details on how its procurement process works and key members of staff will be in attendance for a question and answer session.
Scott McVey, Business Development Manager at Constructionline said: “Supplier Engagement Days are designed to give small businesses the chance to meet with major construction companies, which can otherwise be hard to access.
“Often both groups are keen to work with one another so giving large firms like Farrans a platform to talk about their upcoming opportunities and letting sub-contractors know how they can best work together, is hugely valuable in starting the process.”
John Wilson, Managing Director of Farrans Construction, added: “As a reputable contractor we are committed to supporting the local economy in the areas in which we work and investing in the local workforce, suppliers and subcontractors.
“This event not only gives us the opportunity to extend our supply chain but we’re delighted that it will also create opportunities for local individuals and businesses.”
The event will run from 10am until 3pm and suppliers do not have to be a Constructionline member to attend.
