Construction is set to start during the first quarter of next year on a new £30m hotel complex at Aberdeen International Airport.

The Enquirer understands that client Dominvs Hospitality will be meeting with contractors today to sign a deal for the two-year build programme.

Work will involve construction of adjoining 3 and 4-star hotels to provide a total of 251 beds.

Preet Ahluwalia, Director of Dominvs Hospitality, said: “The Aberdeen market has been in our sights since our company’s inception.

“The location, size and potential of this site could not be more ideal, we as a company cannot wait to begin work on this project.

“Aberdeen is a leading business hub and one of eight ‘super cities’ spearheading the UK’s economy.

“Our 112 bedroom 3-star and 139 bedroom 4-star hotel will be the fresh new answer the thriving Aberdeen market is calling out for.”
