The services available under the BECS framework will include project management, quantity surveying, building surveying, commercial surveying, architecture and design services, civil and structural engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, health and safety, highways consultancy and engineering services and strategic asset management.
Mark Robinson, Scape Group Chief Executive, said: “The frameworks we offer to our 568 public sector clients must evolve in response to the economic environment.
“In this climate, public sector organisations are working hard to manage, maintain and upgrade their assets and infrastructure. At the same time they are faced with the challenge of securing and retaining the expertise required to deliver their programmes.
“Through the new BECS framework it is our hope to support the public sector by plugging the gaps where crucial expertise is lacking and by doing this with one framework partner we hope to simplify access to our services, allowing our clients to operate as efficiently as possible.
“The BECS framework provides the best of both worlds; that is the security of a highly adept national provider, united with a local supply chain network to facilitate access to local companies, thus maximising local spend.
“This will be the broadest consultancy framework available in the UK and as an all-encompassing built environment solution will provide a first class service.”
