The group, which runs nearly 21,000 affordable homes in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, Sussex, and Wiltshire, won planning last month for a 83-home scheme in Portsmouth at Tipner on the former PD Fuels site which has stood largely derelict for nearly a decade.
These homes represent the start of the first phase of development which has immediate potential for some 600 new homes and associated commercial development. There are ambitious plans for additional development to the west of the M275 of more than 1,000 residential units, linked to Port Solent and Horsea Island Country Park.
