Last chance to have your say on future of CITB

Time is running out for construction companies to have their say on how the CITB should be reformed to give them a better deal on training.

Their are currently two industry consultations underway into the skills body.

The official Government review lasts until March 21 and asks questions about the need for the CITB and the industry levy and how effective it is in training construction workers.

The Department for Education wants to hear from as many contractors as possible and you can have your say here

The CITB is also holding its own consultation process to prove it has the support of the industry when it goes to Government next year to renew its levy collecting powers.

Initial information about the CITB consultation can be found here

Regional events are also being held to gauge industry views and you can sign up here

Trade federations have a major say in putting forward their members’ views and for a full list of organisations to contact and read a guide to the process from Hudson Contract click here
