The new Infrastructure Delivery business has been set up to build on Mace’s strength and experience in project management in the delivery of infrastructure projects.
Loader, who was previously vice president at London PPP tube maintenance firm Metronet, left Morgan Est following the announcement of its merger with Morgan Ashurst.
Meanwhile, the last board appointment at Morgan Sindall has gone to Angela Walker who is the new strategic marketing and communications director.
Moves to merge Morgan Sindall’s airport teams at London Heathrow and Gatwick are also progressing, with Stephen Holmes appointed as director of airports.
The changes were announced by Morgan Sindall managing director Graham Shennan in a letter to staff seen by the Enquirer.
He said that Morgan Sindall was well well positioned to “win work within the rail industry”, and is bidding on a number of projects within Crossrail.
Shennan said: “It’s clear that the market is going to be challenging so the strategy forward needs to be one of self help.
“By that I mean concentrating on those markets where there is still growth and ensuring that overhead costs are appropriate to meet the business needs.”
