The company has also doubled its profit every year since inception in 2015 by former GB Group bosses Dan Spencer and Chris Goodall.

Recent wins for for 2017/18 include a fourth scheme for Crosslane Student Living in Leeds, converting Herbert House in Birmingham into apartments and a major student accommodation scheme for Vibe Student Living in Coventry.

Torsion Managing Director, Dan Spencer said: “The successful contract awards follow five months of skilled negotiations.

“Throughout 2016/17 we have invested in the business to ensure we have the right calibre of staff and infrastructure to deliver these schemes, which will provide a strong foundation to continue delivery of our five-year business growth plan.

“Key to our success is our people and our employee count has risen from 24 to 71 which we anticipate will grow further by the end of this year.”

On working with Torsion, Vibe Managing Director, Jamie Barnett added: “Engaging with Torsion Group before we had purchased the scheme enabled us to work collectively, allowing them to design the scheme to our desired budget and manage the whole planning process for us.

“We are delighted to award both contracts and look forward to continued negotiations on other schemes”.

Torsion Group is also a sponsor of The Best Construction Supplier to work with (over £25m) at this year’s Construction Enquirer Awards
