The deal, set to start in August 2025, covers both planned and reactive maintenance across the council’s housing stock. A five-year extension option could take the total value up to £475m.
The deal marks a key win for Mears, which first picked up the flagship Milton Keynes contract back in 2016.
Chief executive officer Lucas Critchley said: “This sees the conclusion of a busy period of contract rebids, against which the group has secured new orders to a value approaching £1.5bn at a 100% contract retention success rate.”
The award is still subject to finalising terms and the standstill period.
