The contract will see the company work across 500 apartments and suites for main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine and end client Select Property Group.

The PRS and managed apartment development will create a new city centre neighbourhood in Salford near to Manchester’s central business and retail district.

Full design and build MEP services, along with the use of offsite manufacturing techniques will be delivered via a local labour force from the Greater Manchester area. Six apprentices will also form part of the delivery team.

Ian Bruce, Business Unit Director for HE Simm in Manchester, said: “We have a long-standing, successful, relationship with Sir Robert McAlpine so moving on to our next PRS scheme with them, for Select Property Group, is exciting for us as a business and, for the delivery team itself.

“We look forward to completing our part of the project safely, on time and on budget for a handover in December 2020.”
