Barhale has a significant pipeline of work coming into AMP8 and to continue to successfully deliver for our clients we’re sustainably growing our teams. We are looking to hire a number of Commercial roles across the business – from Yorkshire to the East of England and London.
The Role
Quantity Surveyors at Barhale are integral members of project teams and provide support to delivery teams and senior management daily. In their roles, they develop their existing skills and gain experience and expertise while working in collaborative and dynamic teams.
Across our business’ geographic regions we have been appointed to a significant number of frameworks to deliver varied work on behalf of water companies. With projects ranging from £200k to £10m+, our Commercial teams are essential in driving efficiencies within the scope of work, driving cost efficiency and providing a high standard of commercial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels to inform reporting
- Provision of accurate cash flow reporting
- Cost management and project forecasting
- Draft and update a monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans
- Compile upstream applications for payment and cash management
- Responsible for subcontract procurement, negotiation and financial accounting
- Prepare project applications for payment to final account settlement
